Not only is the sound on this project ahead of it's time and rich, but it's song concepts are so creative and interesting to this day.
After 4 years I finally went back to this album and wow it's better than I remember. Ye's influence is front and centre on this album, but Peggy still shows his creativity in production and lyricism. Some rough mixing and out dated bars lower the albums overall quality, but it's still a fun and interesting project to look back on : )
It is good, but it's not the genre and era defining project that was promised to us
I am a HUGE fan of Spiderr, and this album takes Spiderr's sound and tells a really interesting story about a person who struggles with mental illness, the meaning of art, ego, his purpose in the world, isolation and tries to rationalize all these things by comparing them to dragons, knights, rivers, mirrors and other forms of imagery.
