This one had to grow on me a shit ton. If you would've asked me about my thoughts on it a few months ago, I would've told you that it was good, for sure, but I was very uncertain about where all the praise was coming from. 6 months later, and man did that ever change.
The fact this album is now 20 years old is wild to me, because it sounds anything but. The subject couldn't be more current. This litteraly sounds like the planet, screaming at us to do something, ANYTHING for the ... read more
Legendary LP, but probably one if the biggest victims of overplay for me. Beat it and Thriller are fantastic tracks which I've heard probably a bit too much in my own lifetime. Absolute earworm of an album, I haven't been able to get it out of my head for the last few days. I might have to finally check out wallsocket since this is some great feel good electropop
Was sent this by my sister, and it's actually really good! Very Deftones inspired but it doesn't prevent it from knocking your socks off. I'll keep them on my radar
I'm not a Cole die hard, but I was still curious about what his magnum opus would end up, and after almost a decade of teasing, here we are. Was it worth the wait? I would say yes definitely, but it's not quite a masterpiece.
As a double album, it does have alot if problems with bloat, with a good amount of songs being longer to they really need to. What I ended up doing was treating each disc as it's own album, and this helped me appreciate each disc more for what they offer. ... read more
