Adrianne Lenker - songs

A warm and sad hug to the eardrums.

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2
87

Everything it needed to be, dosent have as many standout tracks as the first record but it offers a bery consistant expirence all the way through.

Logic - No Pressure
84

I have a lot of nostalgia for this album so i might be biased but i really think that this is some of the best stuff Logic has ever put out.
Listening to this after 5 years was a pretty interesting expirence, it was like opening a vault in my own head.
The production is amazing, Logic is on top of every preformence and there are pretty much no misses, pls, go check this out, you wont be let down.

Playboi Carti - MUSIC
71

I cant believe Carti finally invented music

ok now for real, the rollout for this album has been a complete disaster, and I am only talking about what happened today, when the album was delayed for several hours after it was already delayed for 3 hours, not about the numerous lies and actually disrespectful behavior from carti to anyone who cares about his music for the last 3 years.
but, even with all of this, the album is pretty good, definitely bloated with 30 tracks, but a good deal of ... read more

Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To
93

Really solid metal album; it's really hard to find much else to say.
(83-93) Man, what the hell was I smoking?
I went into this album not knowing what it was going to be, so i got a little shocked after during my first listen and wasnt able to fully process the album. Now i am and holy shit it's fucking amazing.
One of the most crushing, punishing, and inticing metal expirences to come out in the last year, the sound is actually insane, its short and to the point and has incredible ... read more

Chief Keef - Save Me

Best thing Katy Perry ever contributed to

Chief Keef - Almighty So
82

Sounds like absolute trash

KSI - Thick of It / Low

Just put the lunchly in the beg lil bro

Kendrick Lamar - euphoria
98

Dropping a six-minute diss track with three-beat switches on a Tuesday morning is real hating.
Drake is cooked, I haven't seen a diss like this since The Story of Adidon, which, funny enough, is also about Drake.

Prince and The Revolution - Purple Rain
100

Took me some time to come to my senses about this album, but it really clicked with me recently.
Its really just perfect, every song hits, every performance is steller, every solo is unreal , its sheer perfection(thank you).
Also the last track is one of the greatest things ever made.

Capital Cities - Safe and Sound
80

Nostalgia is a bitch

Black Thought & Danger Mouse - Aquamarine
95

Flawless, one of the greatest songs made in the last decade

Smino - Luv 4 Rent
90

Sucks that such a good album goes unnoticed by so many people when its one of the best albums to come out of 2022.
This album has everything, flows, melodies, production, features, atmoaphere and personality.
Supet hyped to see what Smino ia going to do next.

Kid Cudi - Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'
76

Production is great and it has some really good tracks, but as a whole listen it feels bloted and streched out.

Avantdale Bowling Club - Avantdale Bowling Club

Currently listening to this album for the second time and i am still blown away by every single detail of this record.
I Didn't hear about this album until yestarday, and I listened to it for the first time today and I am so happy that I did.
The score may go down as time goes, but right now I cant find a single issuse with this album, the only thing I can thing of is the slower outros to each song, which are still great, but outside of that this album is jaz rap perfection, from the ... read more

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
91

I was mad hyped for this album, and it completely blow my expectations away.
Every beat is unique, dirty, and loud.
Peggy and Danny's chemistry is unbeatable, I can't think of any other rappers that would be able to take those crazy instrumentals and murder every one of them.
So happy with how this came out to be.

Drake & 21 Savage - Her Loss
62

Definitely Drake's best album since More Life, with that being said, it's not perfect.
It has bangers, and a good amount of them, but a lot of the rest of the recorded is boring and dragged out.
Songs like Hours In Silence, for example, could be cut in half and would be better, there is no need to hear Drake mumbling over nothing for 4 minutes straight.
As I said before, songs like Rich Flex, Pussy & Millions go hard as shit, but overall it feels like this album could have been much more.

Drake - If You're Reading This It's Too Late
84

Drake mixes bangers with slower and melodic tracks on this tape extremely well, which results in his best project.

Drake - Dark Lane Demo Tapes
47

Some of Drake's best songs in recent years, but also some of his most embarrassing and boring material to date.
I know it's a b sides mixtape and I shouldn't be so hard with it, but I know that Drake is able to do much more.
Also, he has to stop with the grime thing, it's unlistenable.

Drake - Views
67

A lot of great tracks, some of Drake's best(Feel No Ways, Hype) but as an overall listening experience it's bloated, and I don't see myself returning for the whole album.

On chasethyme's review of Lil Yachty - Poland
"Taking the wock to poland is actually a metaphor for overcoming all of the obstacles that you face in life. Since wock isn’t allowed in poland lil yachty had to find a way to take it there and in doing so he rose to the challenge and exceeded all expectations once again. Never have i heard a more elegant and subtle flex in a rap song. This is pure and unadulterated poetry at its finest. Bravo Mr. Boat, Bravo. 👏"
