And as we reach the end of this adventure into the RATM discography, it's time for a covers album. This the elephant in the room, because even with the instrumentals sounding like fire, it is not technically a RATM album and I'm pretty glad that everyone here can see that.
And this is where things get weird for me. I like this more than I like Evil Empire and probably more than I really should actually. But it is what it is. So many classic tracks in here, like "Testify". "Calm Like a Bomb" and "Mic Check". Oh, and "Guerrilla Radio" might one of the best songs of all time. I absolutely love this thing. Okay, so this might not be a step up from their debut album, but it definitely put the sophomore album curse away from the band. This has everything its predecessor had. Political charged lyrics and great delivery, but it couldn't keep up with the same level. It does lack a little something, but nothing that extraordinary to that point. Also, "Bulls On Parade" might be one of the best songs of the decade, hands down.
