the vocals are very good indeed and the instrumentals have a very industrial tone to it
looks like a good blend of styles and have a lot of potential
I'm gonna start off by saying I couldn't really come up with a rating to this album. And also, I don't think I'm going to say anything that wasn't already posted here, but here it goes.
My story with this album dates back to when I started listening to REAL music, after years of only pop radio music that I couldn't choose or YouTube meme music. After the fist full try, I was totally chocked by it. I had no clue of what in the world or hell was post-rock. After 2-3 listens, I reached a point ... read more
Ok, this is HEAVY and I wasn't ready. I don't really think there's another word to describe this. The beats are crunchy and strong and Denzel's performance is as sharp as you could ever ask.
okay, I'm gonna change my approach when it comes to writing reviews once again lol. I'll now only write reviews when I have something to talk about the album, otherwise I'll would feel forced to write whatever comes to mind and that ain't pleasant.
So, about this Kid Cudi album, it is a very good portrait of what it is to be a young adult in this modern times. This album is very important for the history of the 2010's, due to the mainstream success it reached. It has some pretty relatable ... read more
Another one to the series of albums I can see why everyone is liking, but yet I can't see the fun myself. It's weird and noisy experience. It mostly doesn't make any sense, but people still enjoy it. What can I do after all?
I can see why some people can't get into this album and it might due to it overly simplified version of dark indie rock. Although it isn't as complex as Antidotes, it can be a pretty enjoyable listen. I find myself coming back to it more than I expected lol
VERY GOOD album all throughout its playtime. The Kendrick feature is something from another dimension.
Okay, so this is tough one for me. I really wanted to like this. And I really do, mostly because I'm not going to be the one that stand here and say that this album is overrated. It isn't.
This was my first contact with the new school of hip hop and yes, I lived under a rock the whole time, only listening to indie rock and heavy metal. I got really impressed with everything I've heard and it took me a while to really into it a lot. Since it fist clicked to me, it only grew on me, but that ... read more
My first score was something around 60, but after re-listening to it a lot, I can finally see what Billie went for on this one. It is a very good pop album. And that's all it is lol
One of the best albums of the year so far. It's fun and hard in almost the same proportion. Enjoyed it since the first listen and it became a must listen every since.
IMPRESSIVE debut album from Gorillaz. So many memories like listening to Tomorrow Comes Today in a rainy day... It's very good project, although it is a little bit inconsistent. All the singles work really well and we can see a pretty clear mixture of happy songs with sad ballads. As everything Gorillaz ever did, this is all over the place and experiments in almost every field in music.
This one definitely didn't stand the task of time, and it's only one year later. It ain't that bad, but the whole concept of it's only attractive to young white boy that stay in their rooms all day long pretending they are being important to society, but are actually making everything worst with some male chauvinist thoughts.
AWESOME album, right here, everyone. I loved this one. I have no issues with it and it should be ranked higher, in my opinion, but I'll stick to this score, due to my huge bias towards the Twenty One Pilots' material. Production is done to perfection on this one, it has a strong concept and it's executed fantastically well. The first seven tracks is a mixture of styles that can't really be defined, while the bottom half is the best part of the album. The seventh track saved my life when I ... read more
