Still on their run of good albums here, this one didn't grow much but didn't regress either. Its got some fun moments like with The River and Dark Days.
Slightly better than I remembered Deliver Me and Deadweight still fuck.
Edit: 70 -> 74
This was one of the first metal albums I owned a physical of. I can't count how many times my middle school self played Carrion and Horizons on OSU! with the AMV playing in the back lmfao.
Its a very good metalcore album and even tho its only a 77 I wouldn't hate it to be given a must listen.
I think this is still a fine starting place, retroactively reviewing this is weird and lowkey unfair because I know where we go next. But yeah, solid early 2000s metalcore.
This is incredible. Peggy might have a shout for one of the most consistent and forward thinking discographies in music history, not just rap. IDONOTGIVEAFUCK if "either on or off the drugs" uses AI, its a 10/10 song and uses it as an instrument not as a crutch.
Semi-Charmed Life, Jumper, How's It Going to Be, and The Background are all 10/10s and some of the best songs of the 90s for me. Nothing on this album is below a 90 for me
Just incredible album.
Edit: 92 -> 100
Classic deathcore album, I was too harsh initially because I was overcome with cringe-nostalgia.
Edit: 60 -> 71
Did not age well but I like Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over a lot
This is my favorite TDWP album and the only one I really come back to... Sorry Evan.
I really wish I liked TDWP more than I do because my friends bully me for it. But their music just doesn't click with me like it used to.
It is solid enough metalcore, I like this more as background tunes while working than active listening.
Edit: 68 -> 71
This nails the motif of trying to move and the difficulties that can come with it. I don't think it necessarily hit the heights I was hoping for after hearing the singles but that's okay.
