Fantastic southern rap album. Fun, good bars, some great bars, hard beats. What's not to like?
TiaCorine Had one of the hardest verses of the year btw.
It's perfection. Inspired a lot of my favourite music from the 90s. it's funny at times and very well written. Nothing I can say here can do this justice. One of the most must listens of all the must listens.
Really solid Midwest emo from a band that I think is no longer around. Been listening to them for a few years but never checked to see if they were on here... And they weren't. Now they are, go listen, it's only 5 tracks.
Okay this has grown a lot, I am comfortable saying that SALES is one of the premier groups in the dream-pop scene.
Edit: 75 -> 87
I think this is not only one of the best pop records of the 2000s but also influenced most of what we would get in the indie-pop scene throughout the 2010s but specifically between 2010-2016.
They should have kept up the sound they had with the What Me, Worry? single.
Beloved Indie/art group makes a pop record. Danger Mouse being a producer on a Portugal, The Man album is all I gotta say.
Man I love Trice and this is their most consistent post-hiatus record. However it doesn't have a single track that hits the level of Hurricane or Black Honey off To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere.
For sure their peak, Radioactive owned every radio in 2012. It's Time and Demons are solid. Amsterdam is honestly the song the only song I would come back to.
Fvck Somebody is a good pop song but its also the only high point for me. It being only 8 tracks helps it.
For sure not the worst thing I have heard from them but I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone.
God Bless Eric Taylor is one of the best midwestern emo songs. Marietta is an emo band that is really good at now making you overly sad even when they make more depression/trauma related songs. This really should be considered a must listen for the genre and is near perfect.
Music to cry and scream to vol. 1.
Hot Mulligan are the premier of this sound in the 2020s. Every song on this is amazing and the topics they discuss on this are very relatable to me.
