Easily one of the most remarkable albums of Woods' career, Terror Management hits hard.

This very much feels like a new version of History Will Absolve Me with refreshed ideas and themes. Whilst the latter was fuelled by life lessons from our ancestors, this record conceptually handles the fears of surviving in a war torn state. For those that make it out, it asks - what now?

There is a good pop-punk record at the heart of this. I just cant get over a lot of the painfully cringe-y lyrics that I once used to sing at the top of my lungs.

Some great moments, mostly a really fun album with some of their biggest hits; but yeah, the lyrics hold the album back so much.

Really enjoyable return to form for AM, definitely a grower. Returning to this after a long break has reminded me of the excellent songwriting and generally beautiful sound of this record. I'd spent the last 8 or so years hoping for another good release and this is definitely it. This is very much Alex Turner at his peak.
