It doesn’t really function as a cohesive singular project, but every single one of these songs is so breathtakingly beautiful it’s hard to complain.

Without exaggeration, Honeybee is one of the most beautiful and heartfelt songs ever. Sadly the rest of the album is just kinda eh.

The beats tho.

This is the most fun I’ve had with an album all year

Donda is an album that exists that also happens to be really good.

I may be biased but I think chimney improved on all fronts with this album while keeping the raw, manic energy that made METAL SONIC so enjoyable.

Easily the best Aphex Twin album. Consistently great throughout its massive runtime.

Pretty similar to Drukqs but doesn’t quite have the scope and ambition of Drukqs. Phenomenal record tho.

I mean Richard can really never go wrong but this didn’t hit as hard as his other projects for me. I can’t really tell why but it lacks the punch of albums like Drukqs, and Selected Ambient Works.

Not gonna lie, I dislike most of the instrumentals on this album. If this were an instrumental album it’d prolly be in the 50s. But Paul Simons meager delivery over this instrumentals just somehow makes it make sense, they each bring the best out of each other. There are some very interesting lyrical passages as well.
