I waited time to just rate the entire album, trying to put onto cool words why this shit is the greatest indie rock album ever made. But I will just say this as shortly as I could: Unwound goes ethereal, dull and crazy on the entire record, there is no time wasted on the listen. Just pure catharsis of psychedelic elements, some of the best post-rock stuff ever made, and some little demonstrations Unwound, although they aren't very post-hardcore now, are still the goats of the game.

This really is the most fucking unbearable soung ever made in humanity, my ears hurt
Sonical equivalent to being disintegrated by a rush machine of taxes.
Sonical equivalent of feeling eepy but being brutally punched by a kangaroo

That becomes the album's biggest weakness. That, although, allows it as its biggest lyrical value, to explore many different perspectives of youth, from rich people, to normal students, the social media of popular ones, the loneliness of introverts, and I feel some perspectives show the amount of different people ... read more
