Justin Bieber - Changes
NR

There are a lot of good songs on the album, but the bad ones outweigh those by a lot. If you took off Habitual, Lil Dicky's feature, Take It Out On Me, Second Emotion, Get Me, and At Least For Now, then this album would be so much better.

Denzel Curry & Kenny Beats - UNLOCKED
75

This was a nice little collab EP from Denzel and Kenny. I like how Denzel is able to just flow so nicely over all of the boom bap production Kenny produced. Only detriment to the project are some "questionable" lyrics that Denzel spit, but overall it was a good project.

070 Shake - Modus Vivendi
NR

This album is very Kid Cudi/Travis Scott-esque, and that's perfectly ok! 070 Shake sounds great over these beats and makes it sound like her own thing. Love how uptempo and poppy it sounds in the first half! Songs like "Come Around" and "Morrow" are her at her best. Not a big fan of the second half though, minus "Daydream."

Meghan Trainor - TREAT MYSELF
NR

TREAT MYSELF is Meghan's return to form after dropping her dud of an album, "Thank You". I like her the most on the more uptempo songs like "Funk" and "Blink". She also has some really good ballads on here like "Workin’ On It", "Here To Stay" and "After You". The only real gripe I have is that the first half be better sequenced, but otherwise, it's a good album.

Mac Miller - Circles
100

This is one of the most calming albums I’ve heard in a long time. This album has so much lush production, and I know it was only get better from here. The lyrics on here hit very hard, especially since he’s passed. R.I.P. Mac

Favorite Songs: Complicated, Blue World, Good News, I Can See, Woods, Once a Day

Hemlock Ernst & Kenny Segal - Back at the House
80

I've been waiting on Hemlock's debut album ever since I heard him on Milo's "Souvenir", and man this album delivered. Kenny Segal put his foot into that smooth production, and Hemlock was rapping his ASS off.

Mac Miller - Swimming
100

This is without a doubt Mac's most personal album he ever made. The instrumentation on this album is insane and every song tells its own story. Even though I wish he was still here with us, Swimming was the perfect closer on Mac's life and his discography. This is easily one of my favorite albums of all time.

Favorite Songs: Come Back to Earth, Hurt Feelings, Self Care, Ladders, Small Worlds, Conversation Pt. 1, 2009, So It Goes

Least Favorite Songs: lol

billy woods & Kenny Segal - Hiding Places

This album is so dark and menacing. Amazing production from Kenny Segal, and all of the features are perfect.

IDK - IS HE REAL?
85

Amazing display for your major label debut album. I just wish it was a little bit more fleshed out and tied together. But this album is gonna elevate him to be one of the frontmen for the 2020s.

A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders
100

Hands down their best album. They finally found their pocket after building a foundation with People’s Instinctive Travels and The Low End Theory. Amazing album from start to finish, not a single skip.
