While this is a decent album, it’s wayyyyyyy too samey. Comethazine needs more of a variety of beats like on Bawskee 2.
This was a nice little EP Ari decided to drop on us. My favorite song was definitely the BMO remix. I love that Doja brought her own flair to the track by rapping *and* singing on the track. Facetime was definitely a close 2nd favorite too. I'm not sure exactly who Durand Bernarr is, but MAN did he sing his ass off on his feature! I love that even had his own rendition of the chorus too at the end. Also, whoever was singing those whistle tones at the end??? *bows down to you* MIND ... read more
This album is......interesting. There are a lot of things I like about it, but there's nothing that really grabs me for the majority of the album. It seems like JPEG is going for even less of a song structure on this album compared to Veteran, which is one of the things I gravitated to on that album. At first, this album to me sounded like it was being weird for the sake of being weird, but now I'm starting to grow more of an appreciation for it. Even though I would say I still like Veteran ... read more
This album was Mac at his most confident. It was also at the time I think his most put together album (until he made Swimming and Circles). The way he was rapping on this album had so much bravado and his bars were slicker. (100 Grandkids, Break the Law, Cut The Check, etc.). A lot of the songs on the album also sounding very complete, well thought out, and not to mention could've even done well on the radio. The production on this album was also very diverse, whereas his past albums had ... read more
The first half of the EP sounds like something BLACKPINK would make, but I still enjoy this project.
If Kanye Made A Bunch of Corny Songs With Great Nostalgic Singles: The Album
One of the best trap albums of the 2010s. Every song is just so infectious and gets stuck in your head every time, even when you're not listening to the album. RedColdhearted's opening line on her feature is a good example of that (I'm in this bitch with young Carti....RIDIN ROUND WITH THE TOP DOWNNNN).
This album is sooooooo good! From "Real Life" to "Can't Feel My Face," it's nothing but banger after banger. The second half does start to decay once you get to "As You Are" though.
This was, unfortunately, the last good/great project we got from Logic. I remember vividly when this tape first dropped unexpectedly, and I was so hyped! Logic was just trying to have fun with this mixtape, and he definitely succeeded with that idea in mind. He wasn't trying to be super lyrical or introspective (except for "44 Bars"), and it was just an overall fun listen! Logic sounded great over trap production, which was kind of new for Logic to do in terms of a full tape (which ... read more
This album is what you get when you take all of Logic's past albums (lyricism, flow, production), put it all into one album, and just elevate it tenfold! In my opinion, this is when Logic hit his peak in terms of making great ass albums. The story that goes with the album makes it even more enjoyable. TITS is Logic not only giving you great introspective and bar-heavy songs but he also turns them into great jams you can just play at any time of the day.
This review/rating is just based on the deluxe tracks, and not the whole album (already did a review for the OG album). These 3 tracks are good add-ons to the central feel of the original album, albeit I'm not really as fond of Big Sean's verse anymore as I was when I first listened to this album.
Amazing debut album from Logic! This is him at his best in terms of his storytelling abilities, and his cleanest in terms of his flows and bars (not best, but cleanest). The title track and "Growing Pains III" are also some of the best storytelling songs he's ever made. He's definitely improved his skills since where he started at the beginning of his career with "Young, Broke and Infamous."

This one is Logic’s most diverse and most mainstream project. This tape is filled with nothing but bangers and could've definitely made it big on the radio across the country during this time. I’d say it’s a bit better than YS1 but not Undeniable. Dope project though overall.
In my opinion, this tape is Logic at his peak in terms of his lyricism. This was Logic at his hungriest, and Set The Tone - Disgusting is just an onslaught of songs with nothing but bars! I also love that Logic rapped over my favorite song of all time, "Electric Relaxation" and didn't make it sound bad at all. A lot of Logic's best songs can also be found on this tape (Set The Tone, DP3, No Biggie, Disgusting, Relaxation, We Get High, YS3, Dear God).
This tape is a major improvement from "Young, Broke and Infamous." You can hear it within just the first 4 tracks. The skit is funny as hell too, and really creative. Logic really improved within the 9 months between "YB&I" and "YS1."
Decent debut project from Logic. You could tell he had a ton of potential on this tape, but he just needed to sharpen his skills, and he would be a star in the making.
The first half is better than the second half. It starts to get monotonous around “Moon Relate” and “Come This Way” and it doesn't switch up until “Money Spread”
