Such a step up from 2014 Forest drive. The first half drags, but the second half is actually really great (besides “Foldin Clothes”) and Cole’s writing is a lot less surface level.
It’s a good album, but it thinks it’s saying way more than it actually is.
Not as crazy about as most people are. It kind of drags at times and the lyrics aren’t anything crazy, but at least the instrumentation is great.

Holy shit. This album is fucking incredible. I don’t know want took me so long to listen to Swans but I finally did and they’re amazing. Each song feels like it’s building up to something through the track and then finally at the end of each song there’s a climax where every element of the songs comes to create something indistinguishable from the start.
