I’m rewriting my review, as i want to make a big personal one for me.. and also as i’ve convinced @jamesrating to listen i figured i’d build it up. This is Pearl Jams most daring work yet, it’s experimental and emotional, and delves out of the comfort provided by the grunge genre. It’s unsafe and risky, and its end result is, in my opinion, the greatest album of all time. Each track is raw, painful and yet beautiful. Especially Better Man.

This record lowkey sucks but Dream Sweet in Sea Major is the only song to ever give me chills.
Anyone who tries to deny Jackson’s talent after this fourth record in the most riveting and groovy 4 album run in musical history is merely a fool

Pulp is a band i’ve now tried to get into twice.. and i’ve only ended up feeling creeped out by this pervy freak on vocals and some genuinely laughable instrumentation. My new least favourite band. This record takes itself far too seriously for something that’s so poorly made it feels like a parody, and is truly and insult to britpop.
So, what exactly is Pulp?
A band the world would be better off without.
In preparation for me watching the biopic tomorrow, i’ve relistened to Michael’s essential records. And i truly believe he is one of the most incredible talents of all time.
