To this day I haven't found a song that sounds quite like this one in terms of production
This album is super addictive. I've ran through it like 3 times in the past 2 days, and still feel like I want to keep going.
This album's theme is executed super well, both in it's overall sound and the occasional vocals. They can be corny at times, but it's usually the fun kind of corny. There are some really amazing tracks on here, the intro for example, but there are some spots where I don't necesserily care for what I'm listening to. Though overall, it's a pretty good album.
The first 8 tracks are geniuenly great, and really do make for an enjoyable experience, but unfortunately almost everything after is kinda mid.
Wonderful album. First disc felt really raw in the best way possible, and the second one just felt like a comforting hug. From what I've heard this may be Bon Iver's last album too, which if so, is a really wonderful way to end the project.
While the first 3 acts are pretty good, the last 2 are honestly incredible. Mr. Rager is one of Cudi's best songs ever, and I geniuenly almost teared up to All Along, mainly cause it's quite relatable to me. Still though, the first three acts, while still good, aren't nearly the same quality as the last ones, so I can't give it an amazing score.
Might be my single of the year so far to be honest, it's incredible. I'm beyond excited for vanisher.
The first few tracks of this album start out incredible, I was geniuenly prepared for it to be on the level of some of the best J-core I've ever heard. And while a few of the songs where that, the longer the album went on the less I was invested in it, a lot of the tracks starting to feel pretty similar unfortunately. So while I liked it overall, considering how the record started, I was kinda disappointed by the time it finished.
