0208 and pale blue light bring down this reissue, but because of the incredible 5 additional songs before it, it’s safe to assume that what’s your pleasure is the record to beat for album of the decade so far.
this record is heavily reminiscent of phoebe bridgers ‘punisher’ with traces of mitski sprinkled throughout. the sparse but intoxicating production, breathy vocal performances, and most importantly, the ‘cliche’ but relatable lyrics.
