Though the influence of this album is unmeasurable, some songs fall behind a bit.
Favorite songs: A Day in the Life; Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds; Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, She's Leaving Home; WALHFMF
Although very influential, a song can have good momentum and then lose it all after some seriously discomforting and genuinely annoying sounds start to be added. Yes, it's good, until it starts to annoy you. On a vinyl it may sound completely different, but on headphones or regular speakers, it just doesn't do it for me. Influential and experimental, absolutely, but actually enjoyable? Disagree. Great for its time though.

Though some amazing highlights, but as much lows. The majority of Yoko's tracks bring very little to the table. It doesn't feel like an album, more like a mixtape. Double Fantasy is a great concept, though it falls short.
Favorite songs: Woman; I'm Losing You; Starting Over; Beautiful Boy
Lennon takes a deep dive into his emotions, much deeper emotions, comparing with his other work. Themes of intense trauma, his upbringing, relationships and politics. It's a simple album, yet a very tragic one. The drums on this album are amazing.
Favorite songs: Hold On; Mother; I Found Out; God; Isolation; Working Class Hero
Very touching.
Favorite songs: Imagine; How Do You Sleep; How?; I Don't Wanna Be A Soldier Mama
A severely underrated record. Nate Dogg brings his usual silky smooth choruses and the features don't disappoint. The only actual skip being maybe ''Real Pimp''. Very nice and chronic record, the sound is very pleasing.
Godly production for it's time, most of the songs don't even sound like they were made in the latter 60's. The future inspiration of other bands and artists can be easily heard. ALBUM.
Flawless. Yeah, it's short, but it's great, unique. A lot different than many other jazz records that came out around that time. Unique sound and elements of classical music. Unpredictable for a jazz record. LP that will take you out of your comfort zone.
Favorites: Track C; Track B
No skips. Even for a non-jazz fan these songs can easily be background noise, and that's what matters. Every instrument feels in place on every song, well, it is Miles an Coltrane, what more can you get? Amazing pacing and length.
Favorites: Blue in Green; Flamenco Sketches; So What
Great funk album. It makes you move. Of course, the perverse lyrics, but that's Rick James, what can you do about it. The sound is great, but on the last two songs the lyricism and production seems rushed and without the depth that the rest of the songs have.
Favorite songs: Super Freak; Give It to Me Baby; Fire and Desire; Ghetto Life; Make Love to Me
Tyler's producing creativity greatly shines on this project, especially on drums and synths. CHROMAKOPIA is quite personal, exploring topics of childhood trauma, anxiety and paranoia. Very consistent record, though not a fan of the weak transitions and song order. Found the song ''Sticky'' extremely annoying, mostly due to the repetitive whistle.
Favorite songs: Noid; Darling, I; St. Chroma; Tomorrow; Like Him; Rah Tah Tah
It's not like Tyler thought this was some sort of beautiful masterpiece, he genuinely just didn't care, and that's the thing about ''Goblin''. It's not made for replay value at all. It's nihilistic, raw and vulgar in a semi-likeable way, though it is way too long, and overly dramatic. Goblin is a big F U to the industry.
Favorite songs: She; Yonkers; Tron Cat; Burger; Nightmare
Love the aggressive and braggy persona with a side of insecurity that Tyler puts on. The album where Tyler's talent really starts to show, and how much he doesn't care about critics or likeability. A lot of great songs, though it isn't too consistent, swinging from confidence to insecurity and some weak, but not bad, songs.
