The debut EP from Gore. is a really off putting alternative metal experience. I think the vocalist's clean vocals have the potential to be good, but they’re used in really tacky and predictable ways. The worst part about this EP would be its consistently terrible lyrics. “You are a holocaust, made for me” is an actual lyric on the song “Heaven Is Above Me.”
Even as an EP, this was rough to sit through.
A rock album that is this fiery, diverse, and unpredictable is rare.
An album like "Soft Spot" would potentially become very repetitive and weaken its impact the longer it goes on. Honningbarna prevent that by add new elements like electronics as well as structuring the record in a way where the noise rock and post-hardcore coded songs are more spread out rather than together. Making this album feel alive with emotions.
Mannequin P*ssy's "I Got Heaven" features a good crop of tracks especially in the second half of the album. I do feel the more indie coded songs on this album can be a bit instrumentally weak and stereotypical for the genre.
Jeromes Dream continues to showcase why they're one of the hardest and forward thinking screamo bands today
This single with its great beat, vocals flows and energy, gives you that fun wildness from Kesha that people want from her. The features Slayyyter and Rose Gray do a good job as well adding more vocal diversity to the track.
Maybe a bit too simple and repetitive instrumentally, but Kesha has some fun vocal deliveries on this single
I mean it's not good, but at least they aren't ripping off Linkin Park in the most boring and uninspired way with this one. Still, I can feel the reaction videos titled "HEAVIEST SONG OF THE YEAR,” radiating off of this single.
On “All The Devils Are Here,” metalcore tracks are tightly performed and transitioned to where the heavy momentum is consistent throughout the album. However, the best aspect of this album is its production. Randy LeBoeuf normally does a great production job with the bands he works with, including Boundaries, Dying Wish, Chamber, Orthodox, The Acacia Strain, and Kublai Khan TX. With those artists in mind, this album is in high contention for the most crushing and crisp production ... read more
As far as I’m concerned, that’s America’s abs.
This might be the whitest album of 2025.
"American Heart" is made up of completely unseasoned pop tunes that are all structured the same with lyrics that come across as unimaginative. Not to mention bland instrumentals and Benson's signature ear piecing high notes that show up more than anyone deserves to be subjected to.
This single by Crippling Alcoholism has a well balanced mix of both catchy and demented songwriting
The lyrics and vocal performance on this made me want to throw up. The chorus melody at the start sounds like a rip off of the chorus melody of “Kiss Me More” by Doja Cat.
This is genuinely the most fun Bruno Mars has sounded in years. Sexyy Red offering some wild lyrics make this track insanely replayable.
Not bad, but there's nothing about it would make it stand out among other pop artists today. Not to mention stand out in Sabrina's own collection of songs.
This is just pure annoying cheese. The vocals are mixed in a way where you can barely understand them throughout the runtime of the track. The electronics are bad with the booming beats sounding like farts. Genuinely don't understand why anyone would create music like this.
I’m glad I gave this album a chance even though I didn't think I was gonna like it. I think Sabrina Carpenter improves a lot musically on “Short n’ Sweet” compared to her previous material that I heard and felt was like it was the audio equivalent to staring at a blank wall.
Now there still were some moments that I didn't care for on here. The album has pretty similar and standard pop production across the whole record from Jack Antonoff. Not to mention the ... read more
