Don't get me wrong, Killer Mike is one of the best Hip-Hop lyricists of all time. Maeta is an artist who definitely knows her style, and she executes it in a way that's mostly great and catchy.

'When I Hear Your Name' is an R&B album with Funk and Rock influence that mostly does well. I listened to this soundtrack after I went to see the movie and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the music accompanies the scenes and actually informs the decisions and movement of the characters at points. Nix is an interesting artist that mixes a Funk and Jazz sound with Hip-Hop, definitely representing the UK in a positive way. I prefer his previous work, but this album isn't at all bad. Everything kind of blended together for me, but there were some really solid standouts.
