What a trip! It feels like each song is a pod and you're bouncing around to different pods with these transitions, never knowing what will come next. Needless to say, I knew from the first track that this is one of those ones that you gotta let take you on a journey, and boy does it.

More energy than the original, makes the other pale in comparison.
Jazz, but add... bedroom pop? Percussion-heavy loops with soft echoing vocals, piano, and sax. Whatever it is, his voice sours the taste, most notably on From The Back of a Cab. It’s like a different, store brand take on Dirty Projectors’ self-titled album. I see what he wants to do, and all the pieces are there, but it simply doesn’t add up. Too much reverb, my guy! Oh yeah... it’s definitely the vocals.
These guys are like Brockhampton meets Injury Reserve. The more you listen to them, the more derivative they start to sound, however, this song in isolation: slaps.

Vocals usually register as another instrument to me, so I don't weigh in too much on lyrics.
Favorite genres: Indie rock/pop, hip-hop, metal, experimental.
Favorite artists: Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend
Favorite album: At War With The Mystics - The Flaming Lips
