CORTIS - COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES
50

My current gf likes this boy band so I gave it a shot I, while kpop isn’t my cup of tea the production was cool and they have a catchy rhythm, despite the album feeling like it was made to be commercialized the group showed they can do a bit of everything here so I’m intrigued to see where they take it

BTS - ARIRANG
40

Felt like a cash grab

American Football - American Football
69

Honestly just not a big fan of the vocals here

JID - The Forever Story
90

Last part of my logs that I haven’t logged yet, JID’s storytelling and cadence have been incredibly honed to near perfection, I’m sure the more I listen to this and understand his character the rating would go up, other than that this man is amazing

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon
91

Idk why I didn’t listen to this sooner

King Krule - The OOZ
83

This has been on repeat for a min and I think it’ll stay that way, I love how glossy this record sounds

Tim Hecker - Virgins
94

Made me cum to tears easily one of the best electronic ambient albums ever, I loved how every song was a build off of the other without unnecessarily regurgitating what was already made. Virginal 1 & 2 have my heart and soul, the transitions between every track is flawless I wish to talk more about this with someone

Larry June & The Alchemist - The Great Escape
65

Albeit Larry’s presence is lacking on a lot of tracks and the surplus of features throughout the album don’t help, I like the chill vibe and word play that’s included but nothing crazy good other than alchemist beats and the some of the features

J Dilla - Donuts
90

i don’t quite yet understand how amazing the production on this was but honestly i still love the sheer energy and atmosphere output each track has, so even without understand every technique used the attention to detail is prominent

Solange - When I Get Home
79

I loveeed the instrumentation and production on this album but i feel like it was too good and outshined solange with her over repetitive vocals that too me got dull on some songs overall still enjoyed it and was a chill mood album

Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
95

Loved the progression of the album and its continuous flow, each track evolved from the next in its own way. while still making use of its enchanting and inviting jazz instrumentals over vocals alluding towards the Vietnam war in such a scenic way. Really loved this as my first introduction to Marvin gaye!!

青葉市子 [Ichiko Aoba] - Luminescent Creatures
80

loved this felt like every warm feeling a human would want to feel in their lifetime, unfortunately some of the later tracks on the album ruin it for me

Erykah Badu - Mama's Gun
79

Really liked the jazz and soul elements mixed together with how her voice just rides these lush beats, the production is smth else man sounds like smth that released not too long ago. The albums shortcoming i fear is its too reliant on its consistent sound, while i enjoyed the unique sound i don’t hear much of a progression, her voice for the most part remains the same from start to finish. Still loved how effortlessly each track transitions from one another and feels like a long serenade ... read more

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
90

some of these tracks just sound like if mom jeans was good, really enjoyed how exponential this album it took a real unexpected turn at the end

The Sundays - Reading, Writing and Arithmetic
70

liked how well the guitar and vocals mixed very pretty album overall nothing too crazy but a nice listen and would definitely listen again

Playboi Carti - MUSIC
50

We could’ve given carti a rubric on how to make a better album and he would’ve ignored it more than his son

Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)
70

oooo weee ooo bap bap boom this was fun to listen very jolly

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
50

Haven’t even finished the album but this isn’t my cup of tea
