Benny the Butcher - Tana Talk 3
94

Pretty much the peak of Griselda releases

Fav tracks: All

93

Easily up there as one of the best projects and both Conway and Gunn's discogs. Big ghost delivers his best production here and you get top tier rapping.

Fav tracks: Rahbannga, Brains on the basquiat, Fendi seats, Richer porter, Alligator straps, Empire, If i ruled the world

Conway The Machine & The Alchemist - LULU
82

Great ep. Wish this was a whole album with how great the chemistry is

Fav tracks: 14 ki's, Shoot sideways, Gold bb's

Conway the Machine - G.O.A.T.
60

Surprisingly underwhelmed by the production on this even though i normally like what Daringer does

Fav tracks: Bishop steet

Conway the Machine - Reject 2
83

A bit overrated tbh as far as Conway catalogue goes but the highs here are some of the best in Conway's career

Fav tracks: Blakk tape, Beloved, Sky joint, Salute me

Conway the Machine - La Maquina
68

Pretty hit or miss on the production front. Jid feature goes crazy tho

Fav tracks: Scatter brain, Bruiser body

Conway & Big Ghost Ltd. - No One Mourns the Wicked
64

Too inconsistent to be amongst Conway's best projects

Fav tracks: Fake love

Conway & Big Ghost Ltd. - What Has Been Blessed Cannot Be Cursed
70

Underwhelming compared to the prior collab

Fav tracks: In my soul, Scared 2 death

Conway The Machine & Jae Skeese - Pain Provided Profit
77

Not Conway's most riveting but some decent cuts of tracks here

Fav tracks: Stefon diggs 2, Immaculate reception

Conway & Big Ghost Ltd. - IF IT BLEEDS IT CAN BE KILLED
84

Great beats, great bars. Exactly what you expect in a Conway project, at least one from this era of his discog

Fav tracks: J batters, Toast, Losses to blessings, Son of kings

Conway the Machine - WON'T HE DO IT
54

Nothing here to really grab your attention

Fav tracks: Brooklyn cross house

Conway The Machine & Wun Two - Palermo
80

Unfortunate that Con's rapping isn't up to par here since the beats are genuinely great, if a little minimalist. This couldve been a top tier project from him if he put a little more effort into his rapping. Still a pretty great record though imo and very underrated.

Fav tracks: Cosca, Carduni, Montagna, Gaspare

Conway the Machine - Slant Face Killah
58

A couple good songs scattered throughout a lot of mid and bad ones. The only song really worth revisiting here is Vertino

Fav tracks: Vertino

Conway the Machine - You Can't Kill God with Bullets
84

Somewhat of a return to form for Conway after a slump of ok projects the past few years. Hopefully he keeps this up into the future

Fav tracks: Bmg, The painter, Otis driftwood, Mahogany walls, Parisian nights, Attached, I never sleep, Dreams

Conway the Machine - From King to a GOD
92

Still Con's best project to this date. A shame that he's never returned to the height of this and God dont make mistakes.

Fav tracks: From king, Fear of god, Lemon, Dough and damani, Juvenile hall, Front lines, Seen everything but jesus, Spurs 3, Forever droppin tears, Jesus khrysis, Nothin less

Conway the Machine - God Don't Make Mistakes
91

One of the best releases to come out of Griselda

Fav tracks: Lock load, Tear gas, Piano love, Drumwork, Stressed, God dont make mistakes, Wild chapters, Guilty, So much more, Chanel pearls

Drake - ICEMAN
42

Meh

Fav tracks: None

JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP
74

Honestly dont get the hate for this. The flow issue i do agree with but the production more than makes up for it. Not like Peggy has ever been known for his rapping capabilities anyway. His weakest album thus far probably but theres definitely still stuff here to enjoy.

Fav tracks: Burning hammer, Pop this heat, Yen, Gybb, Bridges on fire, No strippers in heaven

Drake - HABIBTI
6

Same thoughts as the other 2

Fav tracks: This garbage

Drake - MAID OF HONOUR
5

Thank you drake for dropping 3 ass projects so I can make my rating distribution better

Fav tracks: This shit ass

On Wither's review of J. Cole - The Fall-Off
"@PostWither I guess I can see how it may come off as lazy. I personally find it fine though given art inherently comes from places of personal experience and perspective anyway, but i understand how it may appear to be dull, especially in the case of Cole who, frankly, has a rather uninteresting writing style at times."
On Wither's review of J. Cole - The Fall-Off
"I'm genuinely curious as to why you think he's rapping about nothing here. I do find Cole's writing to be rather on the nose quite often, but I feel like he took a more mature approach on this album comparatively to much of his prior work. Also, why the negative perspective on him rapping about his own experiences? That's a common feature of a majority of so-called conscious hip hop, not like its something new, unless that in it of itself is the reason you dislike it. Great review nontheless though, even if I personally disagree."

On Phoenix_wrong's review of Ice Cube - Man Up
"@Ableist_abby honestly that explains my thoughts perfectly. West Coast hip hop artists, atleast the mainstream ones, were never able to really evolve their sound and it just leads to all their projects sounding so dull compared to other regions. Especially so considering how washed lyrically a lot of them are now, like with Cube here. Luckily there's some amazing underground or underapreciated west coast artists that still keep that side of the genre alive, atleast aside from some of the more modern big names like Kendrick or Tyler. In their cases though they've obviously completely evolved passed the typical west Coast sound."

"@oSiley Lowkey I don't understand either. I moreso associate drum-less with this kind of mellow production style now more than I do it actually being drumless since the genre basically always has drums."
