Rewriting my review
🚨WARNING: YAPPING INCOMING 🚨
I can remember my first time listening to this album, riding around on my bike on a sunny day, being confused as fuck by the music and hating it. But it was very weird because ever since that first listen to this day something about the album was so compelling to me that I could not stop thinking about it. I kept relistening to it and each time JPEGMAFIA’s vision became more and more clear. I remember when this album finally fully ... read more
I really like this album, really underated. Earl’s rhyme schemes and flows and lyricism are really good and the features in this album are really good
Favorite Tracks: Hive, Sunday, Knight
Least Favorite Tracks: 20 Wave Caps, Uncle Al
Thank you to @_V33_ for the recommendation 🤗
This is one of the only times I’ve listened to an album twice in one day, and that’s a testament to how good this is. I already liked it upon first listen, but all my problems melted away upon second listen. Every song on this album is fucking amazing. Great production, great singing, creative choices, and switches of style throughout the album so the listen doesn’t become uninterested. The metal songs are soooo good and the ... read more

As I listen more, I realize more how amazing this album is. Every song hits. It’s surprisingly well-paced. Genuinely barely anything bad about this. Hell, I even like Death Grips 2.0. This album is definitely some of death grips’ best work and frankly one of the best albums I’ve ever heard.
Favorite Tracks: Beyond Alive, Centuries of Damn, On GP
Least Favorite Tracks: I Break Mirrors With My Face In The United States, Death Grips 2.0
There is very much a concept here of ride getting taking over by technology or smth along those lines but honestly it just makes for some mid ahh music, bootleg is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard tbh. The change in quality between this and no love deep web and the powers that b is insane I have no idea how they managed it. Their worst album by far.
Edit: 42 --> 73
I understand it now
Favorite Tracks: You might think he loves you for your yapping, Anne bonny

The most “mixed bag” death grips album. Has both some truly amazing raw, primal, extremely bassy sounding songs, like the opener, the closer, “Lil Boy”, “Black Dice”, and “Hunger Games”, but it also has some underwhelming songs like “World of Dogs”, “Lock Your Doors” (hot take alert), and “Whammy”. I’m guessing this is probably because they rushed the album out partially because of the situation they were ... read more

This is my mom's favorite album of all time and for good reason. This album is straight HEAT. It manages to fuse pop and rock in a way i've never seen before, creating these amazing sprawling pop BANGERS with crazy guitar solos and shit, it's actually just peak rock music. That's it. Darling Nikki lowkey the only thing keeping this from a 10. Also the album cover goes hard as FUCK. It's just bro in a purple suit and on a purple motorcycle, he should ... read more
LUM changing his style completely, atleast from the last album of his I listened to, and I'd say it does wonders. This album has some really, really, REALLY high highs, but also has some filler imo. LUM lowkey gotta learn how to keep his albums short ngl. Definitely gonna have to check out more after this album, but this is my favorite ugly mane of considerably small size record so far.
Favorite Tracks: BENADRYL SUBMARINE, HEADBOARD, VPN, PORCELAIN SLIGHTLY

Redoing my review because I’ve had this in rotation since iolz recommended it to me and it’s grown on me like crazy, I’d say it’s a top 50 song oat at this point, the guitar in this song is so good and Bowie’s singing is so good and it’s all so good
Thanks to Iolz for the suggestion 🤗
I haven’t been able to listen to much music this week cause I’ve been really busy with school, but I’ve managed to give this a few listens. I’ll be doing a track by track review on it because it only 4 tracks.
Vroom vroom is a pretty fun song, I feel like it’s held down by the poppier bits of it imo, but overly it’s pretty decent.
I hated paradise the first listen cause of the chipmunk voice, but it grew on me ... read more

This is the second ugly mane of considerably small size project i have listened to, the first being uneven compromise. I had this project on my backlog for a bit but when I found the recommendations tab and saw iolz had recommended me this I decided to listen to it finally.
I feel like the album starts very strong, I love the first 7 tracks (not including the intro), every single one of them, but everything past that ... read more
Basketball shoes gotta be the best song about a wet dream ever made
Was inclined to relisten because of Iolz, and the second half grew on me. I still have my gripes with the first half tho.
