Just what I needed this year, a big bum bum in music

IAN SWEET - SUCKER
95

This pop beats for my heart. My very great discovery of the year!

Act Tragic - In The Afterlife
70

Good, good, I'll return in sometime

Sam Smith - Gloria
35

this really could be a good album, but they lack in better sound

boygenius - the record
83

just three sad women together doing their best to make us sad, but it's worth

underscores - Wallsocket
90

This is my first introduction to underscores. I had no idea what it was and honestly, I still don't know. For sure the one thing I definitely know is the fact that "Wallsocket" has a "wow" factor. All of these genres and styles perfectly combine which as a result give us genuinely amazing craft. I'm just amazed at how much these tracks are stuck in my head. Great!

100 gecs - 10,000 gecs
89

At first, I thought it was just another "fake music" project but I was biased, so I returned to Gecs and found it much more entertaining, and to be honest "10,000 Gecs" is one of the best albums in the first half of the year.

Taco Hemingway - 1-800-OŚWIECENIE
80

Taco is doing his best job with making another great music. After three long years and creation his own label "2020" everyone was waiting for next step in Taco's career. And this step is delivering a concept album with bangers and bops. It's about problems, inner crisises, poland's government. "Mix Sałat" standsout for me the most with sick beat and featuring amazing Daria Zawiałow.

Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess
69

a solid project, but unfortunately it confuses me with some production direction. it might grow on me

Mitski - The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We
90

I've been ignoring Mitski for no reason, and my introduction was her last record which didn't really hold my attention.
The moment when I was watching (addictively) Adventure Time on HBO MAX, then Marceline was singing "Francis Forever" and I discovered this is a cover of Mitski's song, and now she has my attention. Then "The Land Is Inhospitable and So We" appeared and left me speechless. Her talent for writing genius songs is beyond my expectations of good songwriting. And ... read more

Jessie Ware - That! Feels Good!
75

That! Feels really Good!
But some parts on here are kinda boring

yeule - softscars
96

After the almost-winner of AOTY last year, she's back with another project that is as legendary as the previous one. "softscars" forever

Black Honey - A Fistful Of Peaches
90

My favorite Black Honey project, the most enjoyable, with the pleasing sound of alternative rock that I secretly am in love with. It kicks from the start and leads the vibe to the closing.

Lana Del Rey - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd
81

Lana's ninth album "Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd" was probably my most challenging project to understand, because I hardly ever listen to music like this, but I guess there's something under Ocean Blvd, something charming and magical that makes me want to go back; by the way the collab with Father John Misty drives me through a different space and time, which is wonderful.
It might not be her best, that's for sure, but a very solid. I just have hopes that Lana ... read more

M83 - Fantasy
89

"Fantasy" is a very "Everything Now" but much better and much more pleasant. Art cover is disgusting, but well "don't judge a book by its cover" makes sense here. "Amnesia" is f*king great piece of timeless songs I'll be always listen in futute, I know

PVRIS - EVERGREEN
90

"EVERGREEN" came right in a moment for my healing era.
I'm absolutely consumed by how this album sounds as a whole; making "ANYWHERE BUT HERE" one of my favorite songs - relating to this as a year ago broken ass guy.

Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS
90

I can be a teenager again if her music is that good.
Everything on here reminds me of my music taste years ago, and that's a memory I'll be holding onto
But for real, the production on "Guts" is remarkable, and unforgettable, at least for me.

Lorde - Melodrama
100

Modern Classic

This one's gonna be a history of music, cause it's pure perfection, and I can't imagine disliking any aspect of this album.
Melodrama, Forever

Caroline Polachek - Desire, I Want to Turn Into You
97

A brand new high-level pop masterpiece, yet billions of people won't hear her magic ever.

Favorites: Welcome To My Island, Bunny Is A Rider, Sunset, I Believe, Fly To You, Blood and Butter, Butterfly Net, Smoke & Billions
Least Favorite: Hopedrunk Everlasting
