im being generous with this one.

was expecting so much more after adoring got me started. unfortunately it's the best track by a landslide. rest of the album is decent, just doesn't click with me like that track does. ah well.

fun single. please fucking make another album brian. i beg of you. it's been four and a half years. please.

very strong opening third. the rest is good

going back to it after adoring wallsocket has not improved this listen too much. it’s solid but there’s not a whole lot that stands out to me.

this one is pretty and has funny noises.

poppier and less abstract. more fun.

this one is fuckin weird

a half measure of what i wanted and was promised, but doja still thrives in a more rap focused sound. the second half of this record is really good.

doja has the chops to make some great pop rap tracks but she feels restrained on most of the deep cuts on this record that really hold this back; even on the singles, she’s not going far enough to really warrant this new ‘scarlet’ persona of hers.

i hope i never see you again is incredible.

so bittersweet. so uncomfortably vulnerable. the most beautiful thoughts are always besides the darkest. don't you grow up in a hurry.
