When I listened to it I immediately determined that this was Travis' most boring, least innovative album...
I mean, how do you go from an album like Rodeo, which is one of the best trap albums ever, to assembling a plethora of such meh songs...(with an Andre' 3000 feature btw) ? So I mean... It's not trash but except some catchy and solid songs, the album isn't exciting at all, it feels like a demo of an actual album, all the songs seem left half-finished.

Classica robetta di franchino, dove mostra una sua primitiva essenza, si nota il miglioramento nel suo narrare in maniera così da "anni 70", e nonostante sapeva abbastanza spaccare anche nei ritornelli... anche se appunto, nei suoi album successivi si nota il miglioramento.

Mi ero perso il "bonus/deluxe/reissue", riascoltandolo sento che almeno le canzoni che hanno messo sono un po' meglio delle tracce principali dell'album originale, hanno una migliore produzione, ci sono più punchline, e nonostante fibra non sembra ancora al massimo della forma, sembra più sveglio del resto del disco... He came out with a generic, long, unsubstantial trap album, forgettable features even from great rappers, generic production, and it just sounds like the same beat for the entire album.

Già dai teaser non sapevo che direzione avrebbe potuto avere un album del genere, non so se a questo punto dubito che anche Ernia lo sapesse... Sembrava dovesse avere come obiettivo mettere un punto nella sua discografia, ora che è padre ed è molto lontano dal ragazzo di "68" e nei suoi giorni della troupe d'elite.

L'album di Noyz Narcos più consistente che abbia mai ascoltato
(ascoltato ormai 2 anni fa tra l'altro)

Fritz Da Cat ha spaccato con la produzione matchando completamente lo stile di NN.
Sul lato opposto del ring c'è Noyz che anche lui ha mostrato il tipico rap truce e da guide clandestine in un deserto desolato.
Feature molto solide. Su questo disco ci sono alcune delle trace più Noyz Narcos di tutta la sua discografia, quest'album merita molto.

per seguire la narrativa del suo scorso album "Persona", un album concetrato sul metaforicamente farsi a pezzi e mettere in discussione se stesso, Marracash in "Noi, Loro, Gli altri" aumenta il cerchio parlando delle persone più vicine a lui e quelle con cui ha a che fare, decide di prendere un approccio più conscious a tematiche come problemi sociali, del rap game e relazione amorose. Per aver ri-inventato il suo sound è un ottimo EP, anche ottima produzione, un peccato sia così corto.
Se è il tuo genere sta roba va in repeat.

C'avevo voglia di sentirmi un album di Frah Quintale.
In realtà ci sono canzone delle canzoni molto belle, dal mood molto chill e nostalgico, l'unica cosa è che sono miste a molte altre canzoni che non riescono a fare allo stesso modo. Non so come gli sia venuta l'idea su floppino di modificarsi la voce... visto che in realtà ha un tono molto bello, e ci sta diversificare... ma non così....
Tutto sommato ha veramente molti alti, e altrettanti bassi...

E' tipo l'hyperpop che senti dal rapperino di soundcloud del tuo paesino di provincia, ma all'ennesima potenza.
Ha un'ottima "narrativa" e riesce ad avere una grande world building. Album molto astratto ma con un livello di produzione inimmaginabile.

Non ho molto da dire, è un album che nonostante sia molto lungo riesce a portare bene la lunghezza rimanendo sempre consistente.
Le tematiche sono molto "attuali" nel senso che non sono andati a cercare di riprendere vecchi album "gangsta" romani, ma hanno raccontato la loro realtà, che è stata la scelta migliore. It ain't no Illmatic, but it's still really good. A nice sequel with some legendary tracks like "I Gave You Power" and "If I Ruled The World (Imagine That)". For the most the quality is still really similiar to his predecessor, It would've been a really good debut album nonetheless.

The absolute fucking Magnum Opus, the pinnacle of trap music, there aren't many other albums from/outside of this era that can hold a candle to an album like this. The transition that took Travis from Days Before Rodeo to Rodeo was an incredibly qualitative leap, an album where he had so much to say and demonstrate. He came out of the gate with some of the most groundbreaking production of the decade, which are still relevant today. There are some timeless and generational songs.

The first jay-z album that i listened to that despite being so much overrated by people i still think it's very good and in my opinion it also manages to bring honor to the name of the first Blueprint. It has some very good tracks. The only problem that people see in the album I think is that it doesn't have a linear progression and that it is a continuous series of "highs and lows".

If you really read between the lines of what Kendrick was trying to do, the whole narrative of people chosen by God that until they don't have faith in him and live a distant life from the Bible's predicaments will have a much more difficult life. a straight up project with banger after banger, for a casual listen, and even some more lyrical tracks like "man at the garden" and "REINCARNATED" which has simply incredible writing. Although it's not that much stronger than the second... it's much more concise, it managed to have a "breakout single" that showed... ehm, at least that.
