‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ is a very huge project, and that is probably the biggest weakness of the album. That and the need to cut some clutter.
'Wishbone' shows that Conan Gray has progressed a lot. This album is full of indie styles, soaring vocals, and soft guitars.
'Kid Krow' is a middle-of-the-road debut. I'd say about half the songs are "good." The rest just seem like wasted space, or it's trying too hard to be a song.
'Norman Fucking Rockwell!' is one of Lana's best records, due to it's depth in lyricism and production. This project stands out from her other albums because it just gives you the feeling that it was made with quality.
AMBITIOUS. The SharpStars, an all female metal band from Louisville Kentucky, is an upcoming band that is here to be the loudest and craziest. With their goal of spreading awareness to ongoing inequality and unfair treatment of women, the group of three created this EP to lash out their emotions harshly.
'GUTS' is a big step for the Singer-Songwriter, Olivia, and her Pop-Rock anthems. She gets more creative and explores more vocally on this record.
What stands out to me the most about 'SOUR' is that it is way more than just a Pop album. The creativity to put Indie and Pop-Rock strategically into places is fun and unique.
Act II is just as bland as Act I, which also means there is no growth since her last project.
At least it's not terrible! 'X' sets some good examples of folk pop, but then crashes into pop rap and cash grabs.
'Singular Act I' is just basic pop music with basic production. Nothing special to be found here.
‘Unexpected’ does not have good production. It’s all bland, paired with boring execution.
Better than I'd thought it would be, but most of if is still just mediocre country.
Punky, energetic, controversial, chaotic, clever, and fun is a good way to sum it up.
Steve Lacy took a HUGE step in quality from his previous album, 'Apollo XXI.' This is a great bedroom-soul album that still has that home-made feel to it, even though it is high quality.
I get the home-style, bedroom pop feel, but most of it does not sound finished on 'Apollo XXI.'
JID's 'God Does Like Ugly' shows many signs of his religious progression and his different styles. There are some moments, but for the most part, JID is very versatile and made some bangers.
Malcolm Todd’s self-titled album has some instant indie classics, but also some filler.
