Random album I rated due to hearing still.running, and it pretty much suffers the same fate as most expiremental albums for me, take, for example, the clipping album I rated. Heard of it due to one song I liked a lot, but the rest were just kinda eh. Same thing happens here, most of the songs were either pretty low ratings, but the highs definitely were high. Would definitely recommend this to someone who likes expiremental albums.
This album FUCKS!!!! Genuinely, it does, this is a perfect example of a great self titled debut album. Not a single song here was bad and every song genuinely had great production to them. Easily the songs that stand out most to me, at least on a personal level, are IHEAY and Home, both songs hit me deep in seperate ways, and I love them both a lot for that. My favorite track here is NOT Sweater Weather, even if I ... read more
The first Staind studio album, this actually is way better than I expected. The first 2 songs were very meh so I wasn't expecting anything beyond thay, and then the songs just all became 10 times better than what the album started as. Suffocate and Just Go are both just okay, and then Me kicks off and the album just becomes so much better. The best song here, not including Excess Baggage, is easily either Mudshovel or Home, but if Excess Baggage is separated from Spleen, then that easily ... read more
