Influential metal album, and one of, if not, my favorite from the legendary band. Great lyrics, the best instrumentals from the band, and overall amazing.

Worst: Gangland
Came here for the Boldy James features and expected the rest of the album to be like DJ Dremond’s Detroit State of Art Vol. 1. Left severely disappointed.
Fav: Close Your Eyes

Thank you kennywattsO3 for the recommendation!
Doing What we love is a pretty good album, but has some pretty forgettable moments. Overall, a pretty fun LP.
Fav: Soul Caliber
Worst: Just Say
A small step down from their debut. You could go with either LP being better, but I prefer the debut compared to this one.
Fav: Wrathchild
Worst: Prodigal Son
A very solid start to the band’s legendary career. Very quick and easy listen to get into, highly recommend as a first metal album.
Fav: Phantom of the Opera
Worst: Running Free
Overall in between the range of mid and pretty good. I think the croaking was a little excessive here.
Fav: SANGUISUGAFROGG
Worst: Krag’wa The Huge
A nice short little Deathcore album. That’s all I really have to say, the album doesn’t really have a lot it’s just overall pretty good.
Fav: Blade On The Grindstone
Worst: The Huge Sacrifice
Damn, Ice-T really collaborating with both Megadeth and Black Sabbath. Thank god his verse was actually good this time. It’s the standard post Youthanasia Megadeth stuff, the first four tracks are alright and then it all goes to mid and shit.
Fav: Night Stalkers
Worst: Police Truck
Let’s be real, who actually listens to the Black Soprano Family when Benny The Butcher isn’t there? He doesn’t get enough time here, and he really doesn’t even do that great anyways. I thought that this might of been good since we got a solid couple tracks from EL CARNICERO, but I assumed too much apparently. It was a short lived moment where we got old Benny back, but now we’re back to mid Benny.
Fav: Warehouse 4
Worst: The Fighting Irish
QIRE SNOW IS BACK!!! After a 6 year hiatus and having his music being put on to by Aaron Hampshire, Qire Snow teams up with Thelonious Martin to make a more laidback album that still contains multiple abstract elements that I’m in love with. Can’t wait to see what he does in the future, hope his next project comes out before 2032!
Fav: Brother, Keep Up
Worst: Sip
I mean, it does have a strong start. That’s really all that stands out here, they really butchered À Tout le Monde here which makes me pissed because that’s a top 3 Megadeth song for me.
Fav: Washington Is Next!
Worst: Amerikhastan
This is my first introduction to At The Gates. Apparently, one of the band members passed away before the release of this album (RIP Tomas Lindberg). The fact that he recorded amazing vocals like this while battling cancer is something legendary.
Everything here really is just a great reflection of the album’s title. It’s what you would expect if you were expecting it to be really good. I found the instrumentals to be pretty good, and the lyrics really stole the show for me here. ... read more
Some could say it’s out of this world 🤣🤣🤣🦵🦵🦵💥💥💥
Seriously though, this album meets all the standards a great metal album would: great writing, amazing vocals that elevate the lyrics, and also great instrumentals. Espicially those riffs.
Fav: Manure Like Magma
Worst: A Forlon and Frozen Vapor
While the chemistry is non existent, Rosco does have really solid lyricism and Nicholas Craven cooks up another batch of amazing beats.
Fav: Magnesium Chloride
Worst: Boogie Nights
I really don’t know what to say other than it’s just another post Youthanasia Megadeth album.
Fav: Kick the Chair
Worst: Shadow of Deth
