I doubt I will ever listen to this in full (at least not while focusing on it) but it's so nice while it's on.
Genuinely one of my all-time favorite songs. Bill Wurtz is the expert of making a simple structure strange and beautiful. And the lyrics are surprisingly beautiful for him, especially the last verse. He usually uses his lyrical style to deliver odd, somewhat childish, exhale-through-your-nose-funny ideas (Mount St. Helens is a prime example). But in this song, he turns this childishness towards childlike wonder, while also being bittersweet given the break he took after this song. Just so good.
This album is incredible. It's not trying to be perfect, and sure enough it's imperfect in the absolute best way possible. So there's no mistakes - every imperfection is a feature. this album is just beautiful. It just sounds so good. Soft and sweet and sad.
IT IS THE OPINION OF THE ENTIRE STAFF THAT DEXTER IS CRIMINALLY INSANE
Enchanting. This album is completely one-of-a-kind. You might listen to it for the first time and think, "wow, what a wide array of instrumentation. I wonder what samples they used for these vocals..." and then you do a little bit of research and realize the genius of this album. Plunderphonics at its absolute best.

Amazing song. Great vocals, and expands on their sound in a really fun way. I only just noticed that it switches time signatures a lot (I believe the verse is 4/4, the vocal chorus is 3/4, and the instrumental breakdown / post-chorus is 5/4). Bumped it from a 95 to a 97 because I'm a sucker for that.
the harmonies...
Beautiful. Sweet. Nice. Listen to it, you will not regret it.
I am convinced that every member of this band is a robot, except for geordie greep, who is an alien.
this album feels like smashing all the animatronics in the alice in wonderland ride at disneyland and then crying on the ferris wheel
Listen to Great No One and tell me it doesn't hook you immediately. Then listen to Future Me Hates Me and tell me it isn't a masterfully written song. Then listen to Uptown Girl and tell me that drum fill doesn't prepare you for a fantastically hard bop. Then listen to You Wouldn't Like Me and tell me it isn't at the very least charming and relatable. Then listen to Not Running and tell me the melodies and harmonies aren't incredibly sweet. Then listen to Little ... read more

Already Gone? More like I already skipped this song (everything else is perfect)

5 perfect songs and science fair. I like science fair to some degree, the ending is amazing, but the first parts are a bit too dissonant for me. alas
