The palest person you know thinks this is the greatest album of all time
This shit isn't even that sad fr, It's just 1/5 times you listen to it you just start crying inexplicably
Cool listen, but once the shock of how funky it is wears off it ends up feeling a bit like background noise, It doesn't help not being able to understand the vocals.
Ozzy Osbourne's voice is just so unique that any time it appears on this project, you're immediately captured in it. Complimented by the amazing guitar riffs and solos it manages to keep interest for it's full runtime.
Very short but poignant; the production was beautiful, and Vince's energy was performance was really gripping.
This album is great, but it didn't really grab me. l don't think the beat selection on most of the tracks really complements Biggie's delivery. The slow nature of the album just didn't end up grabbing me, I feel like something about this album isn't clicking, so I'll have to revisit it at some point.
(ALSO THIS MF IS A FREAK!!!)
While this album is extremely flawed and disjointed, it ends up working. Every track is like thematic whiplash from the last, but it ends up being part of the project's charm, as you can really feel that everyone who worked on it was just having a fun time.
I'd give this a rating but i don't own a copy of Super Mario 64 so there's no way I could've listened to it hahaha... But like hypothetically, If I did own a TOTALLY LEGAL COPY of the game, I'd say this shit is some heat!
solace is able to get across the mindset that Earl was in with very few lyrics, the use of the off-key sounding piano or the jarring drums enhances the destitute feeling that it gives.
The album starts off a bit slow but picks right up with ‘LIFE’ and takes that energy to the end of the project, culminating with the heartbreaking emotional climax that is ‘PROM/KING’ and leaving off on a somber yet hopeful note with ‘HEAVEN ALL AROUND ME’ Saba explores so many pockets and emotions throughout this project, showing off major promise for his future.
Some vocals can get a bit repetitive but the instrumentals and performances are still brimming with the creativity and inspiration that makes Childish Gambino one of a kind.
Wow, I expected it to be good but this is something else. Billy Woods is a top 10 rapper of all time, argue with a wall.
