Came across this out of the blue and instantly loved it. Cannot wait to hear what this guy does next

shit sound like you're walking around a festival at 2pm on the first day near one of the side stages and you hear vaguely indie music that your brain like 30% registers as neat

May Ninth is the best thing I've heard Khruangbin do. The rest is just so lame

Isn't it just an amazing feeling when a highly anticipated album surpasses your expectations? This was really wonderful all around and such a great combination of their past sounds with a new approach. Also...CONNECT!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! I had no idea the boys were even capable of something this intricate and beautiful

First track rips, the rest is solid cleaning-your-house music

It’s huge and VERY uneven, but the production, songwriting and vocals (obviously) are so top-notch that it’s definitely forgiven. The genre stuff is way too heavy handed though

God that title track is one of the best songs I've heard in years

Having seen the movie (which, by the way, is astonishing), Zimmer's score is used perfectly throughout. The new themes and reinterpretations of pieces from the first Dune are really incredible, Zimmer is working in top form here. Also if you work with this soundtrack playing you'll be 10x more productive (I am speaking from personal experience here).

Definitely gonna be a grower, but it’s really great seeing MGMT transition from their off kilter slightly-intoxicated-sounding LDA to something that’s an outright joy. Also, the sound play on the closing track is among the best things they’ve ever done

Pretty neat but man why does every trap album need to be 37 hours long now
