Liked this almost exactly the same amount as their last record! Makes for a really wonderful and consistent double-album

Hmm…huh… you know this was one of my most anticipated albums of the year given how much I loved their last record and the singles, but on first listen this was oblique and just didn’t land. Hoping it gets better after my inevitable 1000 re listens

Impossible to rate this on first listen, but I'm glad CSH are back and as ambitious as ever. Wish there was a bit more impact on first listen but hey anything is better than Hollywood

Falls into the classic jam band problem of having incredible live shows and very okay studio albums. Definitely some highlights here, but this thing can feel very tedious at times. I still love you Goose!

Feels so good to say that this is Babe Rainbow’s best album in years! In a world succumbing to darkness, these Australian hippie surfer dudes dropped cute little sunshine music that made me happy 🌞

Incredibly disappointing... the songs are so multi-faceted that none of them really stick, and many sound like those all-singing musicals where the actors just sing the dialogue in between the actual songs. The instrumentation and production are all excellent though

reminds me of that 200 song mac demarco project but in a good way? really cute background music

Jeffrey Lewis is a wonderful writer and there are definitely some highlights here, but it's not particularly memorable even by his standards
