Look, Laura Marling is one of my favourite artists alive right now and her last album is in my top 10 so there really wasn't a reality where I didn't like this. And yeah, it's absolutely stunning. Her guitar playing is subtly brilliant, her voice is sublime, but I'm always in such awe at the production choices. For such a stripped back album, it's consistently profound and beautiful. Leave it to modern Coldplay to drop an album with exactly ONE great, ambitious track (the title track, in this case) and then 8-9 cheesy cleanly-produced nothing songs I will never listen to again
I mean yeah it's a remix album! Of course like 50% of the tracks here are totally forgettable!
Very possibly one of the best cozy Autumn albums ever released. Literally almost cried like 3 times...
