Hell hath no fury like Lingua's.
This is my favorite album of all time. My favorite piece of music that's ever been made. The best thing I've heard, and probably the album I've related to the most in my entire life. As someone who has always liked music and who has been on a music discovering journey for the past decade, it means a lot that this is THE record that I hold at #1. Other records I've given 100s to fully deserve it imo, but this record should go beyond that. This record goes beyond ... read more
This was one of my most anticipated albums of the year and for the most part, I'm happy with it.
Remi Wolf is on her freaky shit with this album lol. The songwriting on this record is very creative, lustful and genuine, I liked it a lot. It's unashamedly her, it's not scared to be about a lot of pretty private subjects, and the POVs on a lot of the tracks are interesting and they result in a lot of pop songs with some added depth to them.
This is definitely a pop record through ... read more
Really genuine songwriting and some pretty fine instrumentals.
This is basically as singer-songwriter as it gets. I'm not trying to discredit this album at all, in fact I enjoyed this record quite a bit for what it was, but outside of the incredible songwriting, I didn't find a whole lot that absolutely blew me away here.

I really wanted to like this thing but it just has too many problems for me to fully love it.
I've rarely seen an album start off so well only to trail off so mediocrely. Don't get me wrong, the second half of this project isn't bad, but compared to the first half it's woefully simple and slow, to the point of being boring. It still sounds good but it's so much less engaging.
I didn't know much about beabadoobee upon listening to this album, outside of her ... read more
Every now and then a soundtrack comes out that demands your attention, and this is one of those times.
I watched the movie back when it released and I really liked it, especially on an aesthetic/visual level, but what really connected with me more than anything was the soundtrack. As an avid, passionate fan of Yeule's music, I really liked this thing for what it is, since a lot of this movie and it's soundtrack shares a lot of the same themes and DNA as Yeule's music does.

I kinda hate this thing. Granted it's some of the best music he's released in the past decade but it's still just not great.
Growing up in the early 2000s, Eminem's music was inescapable, especially if you lived anywhere close to trailer parks, which I did. Being raised in a small village predominantly filled with white people resulted in me hearing a lot of his music by proxy. I had a cousin that was huge into radios and building radios and he was obsessed with Eminem, so ... read more
