the other night I tried a gin martini. I had gotten recommended to try it with bombay sapphire gin instead of the cheap stuff that didn’t taste any good. It good

Unfortunately ambient stuff is kinda difficult to rate imo since I kinda forget the entirety of it after I listen to it but in this particular case I do like the chanting present in a few songs on this album. And the opener On Earth is definitely a standout. The last two tracks are kinda ass!

I’ve never heard any Tom Waits before this unless you count the time I watched Robots as a kid but this kicks so much ass

Very solid, though maybe a little frontloaded? I enjoyed the whole thing, though I felt the songs began to blend together in the second half (Vampire in My Fridge was the exception) Overall, I liked this one a lot.
