This album scared the hell out of me. The lyrics are so eerie and I felt on edge the whole time. I've never listened to any of Lingua's music before so I went in entirely blind. Safe to say I'm thoroughly impressed but I'm pretty sure I've also been damned to the deepest depths of hell...
I thought about what i was going to rate this album for a long time but I don't think I can judge after one listen. It's so complex and emotional and made me feels things that no other album has. I did feel a bit lost sometimes just because this album is so overwhelming. It's a project I'll come back to in the near future but for now I'm just going to try and process what I've just listened to.
A pretty solid album from these guys with some really interesting concepts. Arboretum at the end of this album is a beautiful track and closes off the album so well. Felt a bit flat at some points but this album always has something interesting to pull you back in.
This album didn't captivate me as much as Songs For The Deaf did, while there's some great tracks on here i don't think I'll return to this project any time soon
One of the best rock albums I've heard in a while, i think the radio station narrative is pretty cool but sometimes breaks the immersion which lost me a couple of times.
