Tyler, you magnificent bastard, you did it again.
Tyler, the Creator has been one of my favorite artists since I was a kid. I always looked up to him as a role model for being true to myself and not conforming to society's norms. His profane-laden lyrics and brash production on his early albums like Goblin really just showed he was an immature kid like myself. That bassline from Thundercat had me feeling some type of way. This is something special.
What a ride! Bring Me the Horizon continues to be the ambitious mainstream rock band with their blend of hyperpop and electronica with metalcore and arena rock. Oli has improved so much as a vocalist too, especially on songs like YOUtopia and Top 10 staTues. Though I don’t like this as much as the first Post Human project, it’s still a very well done album.
Also, p.u.s.s.-e goes unironically hard.
