#396 Rolling Stone’s “Greatest 500 Albums of All Time”

I am back to doing this list after a little week long or so break (the gap between 392 and 391), and just spent that time listening to this album and a few others over and over, which was very luckily timed - because this album is a behemoth. It’s super extensive and is still improving with each listen, however my main critique with it as it stands is that it’s a bit overly ambitious, this album contains many ... read more

Strong af debut and swept the Grammys

Each line from the verse of the outro track is from one line from each song on the album and that’s pretty cool

“You went years without me

I view Bob Dylan as an acquired taste, this is the first thing from him I’ve heard and can already tell this is an extreme departure from his sound that he’s most well known for - which only makes sense 30+ albums and four decades into his career at point of release. I will most definitely revisit this album once some older ones of his have ... read more
