I was going to leave it at a high 9 originally until I realised I literally listened to it twice in one day because it's such a nice, laid back and peaceful album to study to and to the point where it's basically replaced Dots and Loops as my go to study album at the moment. A truly a humble masterpiece of the 50s that I totally see how it shaped jazz music forever. Damn I need to listen to more of Miles Davis work. Ok back to writing academic work now.
I only listened because I found out this had a Glow Pt 2 sample at the beginning and when I realised that I thought ‘yup I should probably add this to the list’. Pretty cute and occasionally vibey album if a bit repetitive at times.
Revisited on the day of the 420. Still remains one of the most entertainingly surreal albums I've listened to and is always great to rescrobble. Fireworks is simply an all timer.
My first ever EP listen and I was just thankful there was no D in between those letters
