This is some beautiful and sweet indie folk! As someone who prefers noises grating against my ears or blasting out my speakers, this was a lovely change of pace! There are a lot of subtle touches and nuances that make this album worth coming back to time and time again. I mean, it's as bad as I expected and there were moments that I heard old M.i.A. peeking through. However, This album wasn't just horribly mediocre, it was frustrating because there are so many directions that demonstrated growth and reinvention with ethereal strings and her unique singing voice but didn't take them. This single basically confirms my suspicion that, when the album releases, it's gonna be a hatelisten session from me. I cannot believe this is the same woman that wrote TEQKILLA and Bad Girls. This is an insult to who M.I.A. was and what made her cool. The production on this CARRIES. I love the violins and the drumming but that's it. THE experience album of all time
I have been silently reviewing Pink Floyd as request to one of my friends who's a massive fan of them and I thought they were pretty neat. They're extremely innovative, especially during their time of the 60s-70s, and their music is timeless.
