after a very decent three album run in vessel, blurryface and trench, scaled and icy fails to deliver. yes it was made in lockdown, yes there are reasons in the twenty one pilots lore as to why its mid, and i hate to give the pilots a low score as they have a special place in my heart, but there's no avoiding it with this one. just very very very disappointing but at least the livestream version made up for it a little bit. good highs but unbelievably low lows.

not spectacular by any means necessary, but its fun and i like fun. each verse is 21 seconds and thats the main reason it gets points. harvey's and ashley williams' verses are my favourite purely for kano taking the piss out of them in the SBTV trailer/interview part 2.

this was the foundation for modern uk hip hop. who knew summerhouse sully could be so tough.
