Lykke Li's 3rd studio album, I Never Learn is a powerful melancholic indie pop record which is both easy to engage whilst offering some amazing atmosphere and great lyrics for a soft spoken bittersweet 33 minutes, making the record not only dense with its content with so much to unpack but perfectly capturing that feeling of loneliness

Krokus' most regonizable album due Screaming in the Night and alongside other great classic heavy metal tracks such as the self titled opener and Eat the Rich make for a fun straight forward and catchy record which isn't as impress as other records in the same scope but for fans of early heavy metal and 80's hard rock such as Scorpions, Krokus is right up your alley.

With the huge success of Koi No Yukan, in retrospect it is no surprise that Deftones continues the ethereal landscape they had built on that album onto their next album Gore, however, they seem to do nothing new with the sound and if anything moved backwards with songs which are played well and have that edge which is expected from a band like Deftones but nothing really stands out, most songs just blend together and unlike Koi No Yukan there is no punch or drive and it leaves Gore being ... read more
Easily my favorite Tori Amos album and is near amazing for me, containing her strongest, and most powerful lyrical content for such an introspective and melancholic listen alongside some beautiful production, with an engaging structure to the whole album mixing elements of so many different genres from piano driven ballads, to elements of electronic and trip hop and even the taking aspects of the rising artsy alternative rock, From the Choir Girl Hotel is a well balanced, multitude of ideas ... read more
Allegaeon's third studio album, is by no means a bad record in fact it is quite good having a nice mixture of melodic and technical death metal for not necessary a demanding listen but one which shows their technical prowess, the problem with Elements of the Infinite and way for me it doesn't nearly stand at the top of the death metal scene is because it is often too predictable and the songwriting both lyrical and the structure of the songs is too safe, it has some nice moments and the songs ... read more

Although not on the same level as the album which followed it, Clouds sees the last before their took a more gothic center approach to their metal sound for a deathd oom metal album which does get overlooked a bit and with some really omnious vocals by Johan which i actually like and some great slow building and mysterious instrumentals, clouds is a conistently good record which doesn't necessary impresse me as much as other death doom metal acts.
