This is the only Swans album I was able to finish and actually enjoy, this project is beautiful and the only complaint I have for this project and the band as a whole is why the fuck are your songs so goddamn long. Just make like a couple five minute tracks and your good.
How can a rock album get any better than this. If there are any rock bands reading this, I dare you to make a better sounding project than this album right here. If you are looking for the pinnacle of rock, here it is! My friend put me on Jimi Hendrix about 8-9 years ago, I never really got around to this album because people were telling me how different it was from his other two projects he put out before this, I was terrified and I didn't know whether or not this project would be good ... read more
Kanye, what the fuck is this. This ain't even an album, this a fucking three track EP. That is besides the point though. I really think that if he made the full album, it would have been better than Vultures 2 because I really hated that project. However, since there are only three tracks on here and they are all pretty much ass, I can't give it any higher than a 3/10. Do better.
Not used to the auto-tune yet but this sounds like it could be a really good ending to an era.
My dad likes this band, I find it funny, I'm just a junior who has nothing better to do. Is there really anything else to say?
Most songs on this soundtrack are very weak but very few of them hit hard enough to make up for most of the bad ones. Memories, Hide, and Scared of the Dark made me cry ngl but the rest of them except for Sunflower and What's Up Danger really did not have to be here.
Best: What's Up Danger
Worst: Way Up
I am a huge TOP fan but c'mon Tyler, you're breaking my balls with this autotune man...
Such an underrated project. I don't think that it is something that is mean to be listened to all of the time but when you experience it for the first time, it feels like you need to go back to some of the songs to really catch the meaning of them. I loved the project and I don't think we will be getting another project from this guy that has the sound of this album anytime soon.
I have to admit, I wasn't a big fan of the original trilogy except for this project, I loved this when I first heard it in like 2014 or 2015. I think this might be one of his best works even though it was his first. The fact that he was practically homeless when he made this record is also very impressive and you can hear his soul was poured into this project and this hits close to home.
Damn this guy is still around? thought he retired in like 2015.
I don't really know how to describe this but if they gave this the sound of something from like 10-15 years ago and made it more original I think I would give this and easy 90.
This album was revolutionary at the time and it still is to this day. I honestly now have more respect for the French people and this album changed how I feel about their discography and how much they have evolved over time. By far my favorite Daft Punk album and the Pharrell features were crazy. When this album released I was shocked because you really couldn't get a sound like this anywhere else. Thank you guys for your work and I hope that you are living good lives now outside of the ... read more
To put it simply, this is the first electronic album I have been excited for since TIM or Random Access Memories. That just shows you how good this album was and that Justice can make a comeback.
This is a production master class. I like the transitions and the overall vibe of the album. This was a great project and I come back to it often. For me though, i have to listen from front to back in order to enjoy some of the songs like I Can't Save You. The features on this album were decent since I like Young Thug and Travis. Don Toliver surprised me on this album since I didn't think he would fit here but he is on the best song here. I think that this album is a little short ... read more
I wanted more from this project but y'know, it's Playboi Carti. You aren't really gonna get anything better than something like Die Lit out of this man. The features were great on this project and did a good job on expressing his range of different sounds he is capable of. What doesn't do this album justice is that it took him well over 2 years of teasing and release date push-backs in order for this project to see the light of day. Kendrick does not shine bright on this ... read more
This album is the definition of mid. This project opens up strong and consistent but the farther you go into the album, the more the point of the project falls apart. The last 6 tracks can stop existing and Rich Baby Daddy should stay a single. As for the rest of the songs on this project, they are just alright. My favorite songs here are Virginia Beach, First Person Shooter, and 8am in Charlotte.
This is definitely Juice's most well put together album. I think that even though this is a posthumous release. I think that this is feels like Juice's presence on this project was in full affect and when I first listened to this, it felt like he was still with us. This was a great project and I feel like his estate should have kept using this project as an idea going forwards for the rest of his posthumous releases, but I guess they didn't like this album. My favorite tracks off ... read more
I'll put it this way, if I died and I had a successful music career and wanted to be remembered. This is not what I would want as a posthumous final release. This album feels like a crime. Sure some of the songs on this album are good but most of them are mid at best. I think at this point, the Juice Wrld estate is just trying to milk more money off of his fans for another shit album. This is not Juice's fault. This is the people behind his success having full control over his career. ... read more
