Weezer comes back with another project, this time completely devoid of electric instrumentation. Stripped back and full of orchestral and acoustic sounds Rivers Cuomo finds himself forced to take turns in songwriting that remove the anger out of his demeanor and instills happiness and joyous themes to this album. pretty good that the guys who left PatD went on to make this very nice beach boy-esque project, it's very nice and takes some of the Pretty. Odd. aesthetic and just makes it more pop, which is a welcomed transformation.

what a fucking incredible mix of genres, beatles music with emo lyricism, this is the best album this band has ever made and will ever be able to make.
