the extended edition is usually some lazy shit. add a couple singles or add instrumentals and be done with it, but this probably the best extended edition I've ever heard. denzel one of the best rappers rn imo, and this album doesn't disappoint. easily top 3 this year.
i don't know how to rate this. listening to this album i always get the sense that it's really great, and other times i kind of start turning down my brain power and forgetting what i'm listening to, and it's really weird. i actually like all of the songs, but there's something about them that's just pretty good, but not quite great or amazing.
there's something about his singing that's kind of heartbreaking. i'll admit he doesn't have the greatest voice, but it fits so well in this track that i can't help but think of this as honestly one of my favorite songs ever. better than the original imo.
idk how to feel about this. the instrumentals for most of the songs are actually pretty good (like gasoline), but i think that all of the songs are ruined with the vocals. that being said, i don't really think any of the songs are absolute garbage, but they're all just bland/mediocre and for that I just can't see myself coming back to like any of these songs.
this was pretty great, nothing incredible, but still pretty damn good.
this ain't anything incredible, especially when it comes to freddie, but it's still a great listen.
black thought is prob one of the best lyricists alive rn. after hearing belize though I would've loved to hear him and DOOM on an album.
rolling stones really put this piece of steaming dogshit above madvillainy. but to be fair, not everything is terrible. my favorite part about this album is either the features or the instrumentals, which are pretty alright, and my least favorite is everything surrounding cardi b. i swear she will put almost no effort into any of her songs and will sound exactly the same, and apparently it's one of the greatest albums oat.
drunk and hot girls ain't a perfect song, but this still a 10 for me. not as good as college dropout but it's a really cool ending to the trilogy.
this dude got me into rap, and more music in general. genuinely thankful for this man.
should've kept this in igor, still a 10/10 album but this song is so good.
