A really good melodic trap album, Trippies delivery is so unique and works so well however the repeating flows and subject matter dulls down the listen.
A couple of really good pop tracks but also a pretty alarming amount of bland and boring pop cuts.
A pretty good EP from XXXTentacion, the title track is iconic to his catlogue and "hate will never win" is a great track too. The other 3 tracks aren't bad but aren't anything too amazing, but a pretty solid EP listen.
JID's flow and versatility is off the charts on this project. Amazing listen and every song here does something unique and amazing. Great listen and one of the better albums of the year for me.
Track list is definitely a little played out and bloated however there is so many tracks that show off how talented he was. The best posthumous Pac album.
My favorite part of this whole project is probabl the cover art. It isn't terrible but just a very basic run of the mill $uicide Boy$ album. It feels like I have already heard all of these songs cause they are all the same style and subject matter.
Opening track "Trauma" is on of the best introspective rap albums I have heard and this whole album is a very concise concept album about stress and trauma. Not very catchy however and the delivery can get very repetitive. Still a good listen however.
A lot of Nicki's bangers show up on here however I am not a fan of the subject matter that she obuses and reuses over every song. Her best singing ever is here still though.
His energy and confidence is high however the lyrics are corny and the song concepts are old and played out.
I like it and Bodak Yellow are actually really good tracks however everything else is hard to sit through and very repetitive.
The search is fine but the other 19 songs are corny and painful to sit through. This was the longest hour of my life.
This project will always have a place in my heart from when it dropped however revisiting it now the only thing I take away from this is how cool of a story it is, the music isn't great. a 30 might even be a little high of a rating but I refuse to go lower.
A very dissapointing album due to the years of hype building up to it however if you take that away it is still a very basic album for Uzi. The only track that sounds like he put in a high level of effort is Silly watch.
Track 2 is a timeless classic and track 3 is alright. Everything else isnt good.
A couple of really good high energy bangers however in a 16 song track list there is a sad amount of skips.
Pretty basic west coast trap album, not too much diversity from track to track but still a couple of good highlights here.
Amazing showcase for JID's talents every track he shows off some new skill that he has mastered whether it is flow, delivery, writing and even singing JID bodies every performance on here.
