Still witty comedic and energetic however the tape feels super disjointed and unfinished. Action Bronson's energy and flows are the highlights but the lack luster production and mixing is odd.
The combo of Drake and Future work in stints however as a whole project it isn't incredible but cuts like Diamonds Dancing, Scholarships and Plastic Bag are iconic in both men's catalogues.
A handful of iconic drill songs but also a couple of misses on the short track list however the highs are timeless classics.
A handful of really well executed pop rap songs that are easy listens however there is still a good amount of misses in the track list.
Good posthumous album however the songs they selected don't bring enough light to Juice's unreleased material. The production is lacking at time and a handful of the songs feel unfinished.
Good trap project from 21 nothing too groundbreaking and still has a large amount of head scratching lyrics and song topics, that being said there is a ton of amazing bangers on here. The features shine very bright as well.
A good Neo-Soul project, I don't find it as ground breaking as some people do but it is definitely a solid project and Steve's best work so far. Easy listen super melodic and smooth flowing.
Beautiful Jazz and Neo-soul album, Anderson .Paak will always provide fun and soulful singing and he does that in abundance here and it is incredible. Not anything too ground breaking for him just a really solid project.
Incredible album by Frank ocean, his singing is beautiful and his writing is simple yet so relatable and heart wrenching. Incredible flow and sequencing to the album too. One of the prettiest sound scapes I have ever heard.
A couple of really good stand alone tracks that blend hip hop R&B and pop seamlessly. There is quite a few tracks that fall through for me however the highs are really good.
Really good experimental pop album from Charli XCX just a super moody and electro album about Charli being cooped up and it is amazing. She really opens up here over industrial EDM sounds and it is done very well.
Really good pop album from Charli XCX not as off the wall and out there as her earlier work but is a very accessible album and has a large amount of pop bangers. Doesn't do anything crazy or new but also doesn't do anything bad.
A couple of highs however its another Memphis rap project where all the songs blend so much together because the beats all sound similar and Dolphs flow is the exact same from track to track. The posse cut trap banger is fun though.
An amazing show case of JID's talent he does a little bit of everything on this project and does it all well. Gets melodic and somber on Hereditary and All Bad and also lays down some hard bangers like Never.
Another one of those albums that is high on sound but kind of low in substance. The production is beautiful and Rejjies singing is improved as well. However the track list can feel sort of choppy at times and Rejjie is no stranger to a corny head scratching bar.
Yes it is all over the place and hard to find a sound or flow from track to track but with a collab album with this many names I wouldn't expect it to. All the tracks are really good and somehow with all these names stacked up on every song, all the performers find their niche really well and everyone shines. Also JID and J Cole show up on almost every song and steal the show every time they touch a mic.
Honestly my only complaint about this track list is it is a little too long, an hour and 10 minutes is a little too much Future for me. That being said it might not have the same highs as some of Futures other projects but this is one of his most consistent listens. It's not as iconic as some of his earlier work but feels really consistent and flows very well. One of his standout projects.
