I don't want to rate this quite yet. But people don't call this an all timer for nothing so I can see were it might end up. Music listening is kinda a side Hobby for me. I like art in general but mainly Reading and Film are the art forms I indulge in most proactively cause you have to be present and following along to engage with them at all. A mainstream artist dropped an album with spoken credits at the end...this is low-key one of the coolest things I've ever heard.

I simply found this kinda repetitive and boring. While repetition in their debut album was there a little. There was much more charm and exploration in the muddy grit of the band taking their first steps. This just feels like they subdued whatever interesting ideas they wanted to talk about behind a neverending dry wall that's painted decently. Now my words are a little harsh but I don't think this completely sucks or anything just very meh.

I'm really not big into metal but I saw these guys records at my local shop and wanted to check them out cause their band name is fucking GOJIRA! which is just insanely cool. Suffice to say when I go home and listen to them I go on a Dark, Apocalyptic journey into Ascension. Genuinely these guys just sold me on metal and I might just stay up all night listening to their discography.
