this song just keeps getting better the much you listen to it. I am a sucker for these kind of joji songs lyric-wise. Glimpse of Us also destroyed me. This song makes me excited for what's to come for this upcoming album.
Holy shit. I really despised Dance Monkey (maybe the worst song ever made), but this album just kept getting worse when I was listening to it. I saw the user score on this album and I thought: it cannot be that bad. It is. This is the most unoriginal album I've ever heard, there seems to be no real direction, the general sound is the most generic piece of trash I've ever heard. Her voice might be one of the most annoying things I've come across, like nails on a chalkboard. The ... read more
Great album, but the Quadeca tracks are 10/10. Flipping heck! I love that guy!
This record reminds me a lot of Men I Trust in a good way. Like Men I Trust, the singing is perfectly soft, it’s really catchy and easy to get lost in the music which is perfect for Bedroom Pop. I don’t want my personal feelings to be involved with my review of this album but music is about invoking feelings and I am in love with a girl right now and my feelings are amplified a lot when I listen to this album.
The first 5 songs of this album are amazing and could be replayed into infinity. This album is a perfect entrance into Bedroom Pop and I could listen to it forever.
I truly love HONNE’s music. It’s so real, so catchy, so relatable. The bittersweet feelings of a love lost or a potential new love gained and a love experienced are so well expressed in their music. The album "no song without you" by HONNE is a delightful musical journey that captures the essence of love, introspection, and human connection. Each track on this album is a heartfelt expression of emotions, blending soulful melodies with electronic beats seamlessly. ... read more
HONNE always delivers in my eyes. Low-key yet detailed music with relatable, poignant lyrics. Their music is the perfect music to relax to, to get lost in the world they’re creating. Overall a really enjoyable experience which I personally recommend giving a chance. There are definitely songs everyone can enjoy on this album.
An unexpected, but logical collaboration. However unambitious, the album does show the chemistry Lil Yachty and James Blake possess. Unfortunately, the album does not dare to seek new and inspiring sounds they have not created yet, it’s a mere literal combination of their sounds. Don’t get me wrong, it is still an enjoyable experience and definitely an album I have returned to multiple times, but with the expansive skillsets these two have I expected the album to be more ... read more
Really fun album. Sonically it is a really satisfying experience. The first three “CD’s” are the best in my opinion with my preference going to tracks such as Ice Age, Glock, New Drop, Backstreets, Deep In The Water and Bandit. To me it is just a really great album with catchy lyrics to sing and rap along to.
Just an incredible album. Billie is sounding more mature and confident with every record, but you can also feel this in the ambiance of the album and the way she is presenting the subject matter. It’s just an impressive and concise record.
This album doesn’t grab me like his work usually does. I agree a lot with the sentiment of the review of MinatoArisato “ An extremely emotional record that doesn't really find an interesting way to present itself.” Lyrically I really enjoy the album in moments, but the whole work feels uncohesive and messy. To me the songs are more poetic-driven as opposed to being songs with clear direction and a clear structure. Overall, it is a decent album with potential to grow on ... read more
This whole album is great, but the run from from either on or off the drugs until the end is insanely beautiful!
How to describe this album? Boring? Underproduced? Uninspired? Any of those words will do. It’s just disappointing
Has been a while since I've last written a review for something on this website but I have decided to sometimes check in and share some music I find interesting.
If you're looking for something goofy as hell to listen to this is the stuff. If you could define music as 'quirky', this is it. I do not want to say too much as this is something you should experience for yourself.
I'd say start with listening to Vendetta by this artist as it is the most popular song by them right now and should ... read more
This album is extra disappointing, because you know Kid Cudi can definitely do better than this, but the first half of the album is mostly very generic trap and the melodies are uninspired as hell. “She Knows This” and “Dive” are perfect examples of this. The album is definitely listenable, but it doesn’t have memorable to cling onto, to come back and listen to this album again.
The song “Show Out” is just an unfortunate cash-grab, as anyone could ... read more
